I was recently involved in a car accident and my VW CC was a total loss. I really liked that car and I knew it would be hard to replace. I was searching for a particular Volkswagen CC. I wanted a manual transmission, one of three colors that I had in mind with a black interior.... not easy to find. I found one while searching the internet. A 2013 CC light brown with a black interior, however it was 550 miles away in Pennsylvania and I live In Michigan. I contacted Autohaus of Lancaster and was put in touch with Barbara Auker. She informed me the car was available. After discussing it I decided I was interested. I was worried the car would be sold before I could get there. Barbara assured me the car was mine. After speaking with her I knew I was dealing with someone I could trust. I filled out a credit application online and everything was approved. They made it very easy! Now, the question... was the car as good as it looked in the pictures? Barbara made certain it was. I drove the 550 miles, and I was not disappointed. It looked better in person! When I arrived I was promptly greeted by the receptionist, and met Barbara for the first time. She is very nice and personable. She even made arrangements with Enterprise to pick up the rental car I was driving. Everything was ready to go when I arrived. I sat down with Rod Wilkes to go over financing. He was friendly, very knowledgeable, and negotiated a great rate with the bank. No high pressure to purchase extended warranties, however they were presented to me as an option. As I was about to leave the dealership, the owner Tom Wanner took the time to come out and meet me. I have purchased many vehicles over the years, and never had a meeting with a owner. I was very Impressed he took the time out of his day to say hello. So I can honestly say I would highly recommend Autohaus! And as for the eight hour drive back to Michigan, the vehicle ran flawless!

I’ve waited a solid two months after making my purchase with Hernan Diaz-Egg (henceforth referred to as H. as he introduces himself) to write this review. I am just as happy with the service I received and the beautiful Audi S4 today as I was the day Hernan walked me out to the lot for a test drive. I’ve haven’t been let down at all and I expect that Audi will continue to make my ownership experience just as stellar.H. threw everything I expected on its head. I went in defensive ready to fight for a good deal. Instead, H. came at me with completely reasonable terms. Every detail was meticulously arranged and taken care of down to pointing out even the littlest flaws of the car (a small rock nick on the hood). I never feel like I was being handled, I felt like a good friend was showing me a car they knew I wanted but held honesty above their own benefit. (Which is ultimately the mark of a great salesman)H. and Autohaus outdid themselves to beat the already phenomenal financing I had secured and made me feel like family. That’s a big statement to be made of any car dealership; although Audi as a whole goes above and beyond, H. went to the next level. My greatest compliment is that I wasn’t talked down to about the car. I went in knowing everything about it, and H. didn’t try to force feed me sales statistics. He knew I was interested and let the car speak for itself. I found out, as I was falling in love with the car, that after I had put a reserve deposit down, other potential buyers had offered to outbid my reservation, but H. remained true to his commitment and held my reservation.All of that is to say nothing of the fact that H didn’t try to upsell me on the aftermarket clear bra (A++) that the previous owner had installed. That alone would have been a reason to justify a higher price. Ultimately, I came out with a great deal on the car and locked into many other add-ons that I would not have purchased had they pressured me (10-year warranty through Audi, sure why not!).This experience has very likely made me a lifelong Audi owner, and I’d even drive the two hours back to Autoaus to purchase my next car from H. If you have the chance to work with Hernan…Do it. Also if you get a chance the car museum alone is worth a visit.

Since people tend to post reviews about what they don’t like, here is a text that I sent to Matt in the Service Department below. By the way, the dealership has always given me an office to work in while waiting for my vehicle to be serviced. This person went above and beyond for me and he deserves to be noticed. Matt, I can’t thank you enough for going the extra mile to make sure my grill was taken care of and covered for my Audi A7. That is the greatest thing I could ever... hope for. Thank you for your hard work in getting this taken care of as well as Autohaus for the Good Will exception. It’s nice to know that Audi of Lancaster stands behind their product and quality and does everything possible to please their customers. I will be sure to write this review where everyone can see it. Exceptional Customer Service is hard to come by these days and you have gone above and beyond to make this customer very happy. Thank You See More
